Marine Radio
The Radiocommunications Act 1992 stipulates that installation and operation and of any marine radio equipment must be authorised by a licence.
We will conduct Marine Radio courses for clubs or groups, mimium 8 persons.
You must provide, before start of the course, a photographic evidence of identity (e.g., driver's licence, passport) and a coloured, passport quality photogragh with your name printed on the back of it.
The course fee include Marine Radio Operators Handbook, examination fees and postage.
VHF Marine Radio (MROVCP) - $145.00
One night only. The
assessment is open book assessments of 25 multiple-choice questions which
requires a minimum of 70% pass which equates to 18 out of 25 correct
questions.

MF/HF & VHF Marine Radio (MROCP) - $174.00
The course duration
is approximately 6 hours plus assessment which
takes about 30 to 60 minutes to complete. Or we could arrange
assessment on a different date to allow you more time to study.
This course includes the VHF marine radio component. The MF/HF marine radio has no limitation on range and is the only radio for mariners venturing into coastal and ocean going passages.
